The classic 120-kilometre Sunday ride, but with something extra: the “Valtellina Wine Road”.
The route follows the Road that climbs, descends and winds through the vineyards, touching every Nebbiolo Nebbiolo-producing areas of Valtellina. Maroggia, Sassella, Grumello, Inferno, Valgella; it’s like a tongue-twister.
The looped tour is entirely on tarmac – perfect for the rodie – but here’s a tip: slow down, enjoy yourself, savour the moment. The landscape offers the very best of Gravellina: villages, castles, churches, countryside and wide panoramas. If you look closely, you can even catch a glimpse of the Mortirolo.
Ah! No energy bars or gels. Eat pizzoccheri.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
Under Ministerial Decree of 24 April 2013, a medical certificate is mandatory for participants in the Strada del Vino road-bike.
- Italian residents must obtain a fitness certificate for non-competitive cycling or a fitness certificate for practising high/special cardio stress sports activities, valid on the date of the event.
