Unforgettable refreshment at the Menaglio mill, the treat you don’t expect after so much cycling. A day that I will carry in my heart for quite a long time. Cheers to Valtellina and Gravellina.

L’Eroica
Gravellina embodies my vision of Gravel, with technical sections and a lot of elevation gain, which is close to Alpine gravel. I enjoyed the views of the valley and its mountains. I discovered villages that otherwise are only seen through the car window when driving. In short, it has been the pleasant discovery of a parallel, unknown and even more beautiful Valtellina.

A unique route for its charm which leaves breathless. Tough uphills, it’s true, but I still have in my eyes the beauty of terraced vineyards, dry stone walls, bunches of grapes still to be harvested, apple orchards and chestnut forests. The sun kissing our faces and legs. Not least villages, castles and landscapes to be photographed. Wonderful Gravellina, able to exalt the rural roads of Valtellina, which demand effort, but leave in the eyes and heart the beauty and uniqueness of this territory.
